is it true that a guy wont respect a woman who has sex with him quickly?

If a woman has sex with a guy she barely knows or has sex with him early in the relationship ppl say that the man won't respect her.

How many of you find this to be true?

Because I had sex with my boyfriend days after I actually met him and it really only brought us closer and we have a really good respectful relationship. Also he doesn't expect sex from me which ppl say happens.
Are we just the exception to the rule?

Depends on the guy. Some of my best relationships began with sex on the first date. "Quickly" is a relative term. What's quick for me may be slow for others.

I don't think you're the exception. I just think we're lied to all the time by those trying to steer us the way they want us to go. If a guy disrespects or dislikes a woman after sex, he would probably have felt that way no matter what. Better he finds out sooner that you're not what he wants in bed, than find out later - say, after marriage!

That's probably better for you too!

Generally, you don't want to have sex with someone before you feel comfortable being with them. THAT may take a bit of time. But making sex more important than it really is just leads to problems.
